Terms
Scope
These terms govern the use of tuftmeshvault.com and the paid Standard Support and Enterprise plans offered by Tuft Mesh Vault, 5-8-11 Nakanobu, Shinagawa, Tokyo 142-0053. The software itself is licensed separately under the Apache License 2.0, and nothing here narrows that licence.
The software licence
The Tuft Mesh Vault binary, source and documentation are released under Apache 2.0. You may run it on as many nodes as you like, modify it, and redistribute it under the terms of that licence. There are no seat limits, no feature gates and no expiry on the Community tier. The paid plans buy support around the software, not the software.
Standard Support
Standard Support is billed monthly in yen, in advance, and can be cancelled at any time with effect from the end of the current billing month. It provides a private support queue with a two-business-day response target during Mon-Fri 9:00-18:00 JST, early access to patch releases before public announcement, and one architecture review call per quarter. The response target is a target, not a guarantee of resolution; a fix may need a release cycle.
Enterprise
Enterprise plans are agreed in a written contract that sets the SLA, the node count, the term, pricing, the assisted-migration scope and any regulatory undertakings. Where that contract and these terms differ, the contract wins. Assisted migration means our engineers work alongside yours on a plan we agree in writing; it does not mean we operate your production environment.
Autumn migration offer
The Q4 2026 offer of one assisted-migration session with any Enterprise plan applies to contracts signed on or before 31 October 2026 for migrations starting before 31 December 2026. One session per contract; not exchangeable for credit.
Payment
Invoices are payable within fourteen days by bank transfer or card link. Amounts are quoted in yen and exclude consumption tax unless stated. Overdue invoices attract statutory interest under Japanese law and, after thirty days, suspension of the support queue until settled. Suspension does not affect your right to run the software.
What you must not do with support
Send us end-user personal data you are not authorised to share. Use the private queue to obtain support for forks that remove the audit log or the policy engine's dry-run safeguards. Resell our support as your own without an agreement. Attempt to use the queue to breach a third party's systems.
Warranty and disclaimer
The software is provided as-is under Apache 2.0, without warranty of any kind. Support services are provided with reasonable skill and care. We do not warrant that any advice will be suitable for every topology; you are responsible for testing changes in dry-run mode and in a staging environment before applying them to production, which is exactly what the policy engine's dry-run mode is for.
Liability
To the extent permitted by Japanese law, our total liability under a support plan in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees paid for that plan in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost revenue, or data loss on systems we do not operate. Nothing here limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under Japanese law.
Content of this website
The articles, documentation excerpts and diagrams on tuftmeshvault.com are copyright Tuft Mesh Vault unless credited otherwise, and are licensed for reading and linking. Code samples in the articles may be used under Apache 2.0. Product information, prices and hours on the site are kept accurate but the signed contract and the invoice are the documents that bind.
Changes and governing law
We revise these terms occasionally; the version on this page applies, and a plan is governed by the version current on the day it was purchased or renewed. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes that cannot be resolved by discussion go to the Tokyo District Court as the agreed court of first instance.
